About Me
Dental professional Chris Emuedue, DMD, earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1995 from the University of Benin School of Dentistry in Nigeria. The following year, he took a position at the university’s teaching hospital, where he aided in patient care and dental education while overseeing a team of 18 senior dental students. After teaching for a year in Benin, Chris Emuedue made a career move to Kano, Nigeria, where he directed the World Health Organization’s grassroots-oriented Dental Outreach Program.
After completing his work in Nigeria, Chris Emuedue traveled to the United States to broaden his dental career, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After completing his residency in 2005 in New York, Chris Emuedue joined the staff of GF Dental in Rowlett, Texas, where he remained until 2009. Before transferring to South Texas Dental Clinic, where he worked until 2010, Dr. Emuedue amassed considerable expertise in various surgical and cosmetic procedures that include extractions, Invisalign, and prosthodontics.
Today, Chris Emuedue, DMD, works as a general dentist at Greenville Family Dentistry in Greenville, Texas. He manages a staff that includes other dentists and a team of dental assistants, the latter for whom he has created a unique oral care program. In 2010, when he started working at Greenville Family Dentistry, the practice operated two opatories (treatment rooms), and he has contributed to its expansion into a five-opatory facility.
Away from his professional career, Dr. Emuedue enjoys the pursuit of a number of outdoor hobbies, including traveling, sky diving, and football. At home, Chris Emuedue, DMD, values such quiet activities as reading and cooking.
